I am a retired registered nurse who (when I was somewhat younger)had a daughter and not quite 2 years later a son with complications: I had a pregnancy complication which was life threatening and although I lived my son died. That was a long time ago but served as the catalyst to my husband ultimately asking and getting a divorce because I couldn't deal with the loss of my son. My big regret was that I wasn't there for him back then and the rest of our lives have suffered for it.
