I am not sure where you would like to travel for vacation, but my little ones always liked the zoo. Columbia Zoo in Carolina has a FANTASTIC exibit for little ones as well as us big kids(parents). You can see penguins play and they have an underwater tank to watch polar bears swim under water. They have many "hands on" activities for your 2.5 yr old and your youngest will enjoy the sights and sounds as well.
