Your Postings to this Site.

The Parentricity site is dedicated to allowing parents to write an article providing advice on a new or a given topic, or to respond to such topics. If you post anything, you guarantee to us that:

• You have legal rights to post your material and it will not violate any law or the rights of any person; and
• All information and materials of any kind, including graphics, text, or otherwise posted by someone on the Parentricity Site ("Member Content") are subject to the following terms:

By posting Member Content you give us the royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right to: allow other people to use the Member Content as described in these Terms; and to use, distribute, display, and create derivative works from this Member Content, in any and all media, in any manner, in whole or in part, without any restriction or responsibilities to you;

Usage of Web Space Storage:

Parentricity provides members with free web space for their parenting advice. Free Web Space, as defined by Parentricity, is comprised of hypertext mark-up language (html) and associated files, intended solely for the visual presentation of PARENTING RELATED CONTENT on the members' parenting advice pages. The spirit of free web space is specifically not intended as a storage facility for members' personal digital files. Using it as such is a violation of this Terms of Service Agreement. Also please note that pictures are only saved for the purposes of display on Parentricity not for storage or other purposes. Members cannot assume that Parentricity will preserve the quality or resolution of any picture uploaded to Parentricity.

Conduct of Members and Visitors.

We believe that all members and visitors benefit from basic rules regarding conduct while using the Services. Accordingly, we ask you-and you agree-to follow the following basic rules of conduct when using the Site:

1. You will follow these Terms and all applicable laws;
2. You will not harass, threaten, or abuse other people when using the Site in any manner;
3. You will not post or otherwise make available any Member Content that is obscene or may be hateful or offensive on racial, ethnic, sexual, or any other grounds; is harmful, vulgar, or distasteful; or is defamatory, libellous, or invades another person's privacy or proprietary rights;

You will not post any Member Content that contains any viruses, cancel bots, Trojan horses, harmful code, or other computer software or program designed to interrupt the Services we provide, users' ability to enjoy the Services, or the proper functioning of any software, hardware, or equipment or materials used in connection with the Services;
10. You will not send any bulk unsolicited advertising, promotional information, email or other solicitation (including without limitation junk mail, "spam," chain letters or pyramid schemes of any sort) to any person through the use of the Services;

Applicable law and jurisdiction

The Parentricity web site (excluding links to third-party sites) is controlled by Parentricity, and operated by Parentricity from its offices in and around NYC, NY. While Parentricity has made no effort to publish the Parentricity site elsewhere, because this site is published on the World Wide Web it is accessible in all 50 states of the United States and in other countries. Parentricity may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Parentricity service at any time, including availability of any feature, database or content. Parentricity may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to all or parts of the Parentricity web site without notice or liability.

Access Restrictions; Termination.

We can terminate your access to the Site or the Services at any time, immediately and without notice if, in Parentricity's sole discretion, you fail to comply with any of the Terms. 1.ELIGIBILITY:
Open to individuals who are legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia, who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence as of the date of entry. The Giveaway begins on the nineteenth day of August at 12:01:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") and ends on the last day of September at 5:00:00 p.m. EST. Entries must be submitted by 5:00:00 p.m. on the last day of the monthly promotion to be entered in the drawing.

3. TO ENTER:
No purchase necessary. To enter, follow the links from the e-mail to sponsor’s web site at and fill out the official entry form completely pursuant to the instructions. (Estimated time to answer: approximately 1 minute.) Entrants must complete all required sections in the official entry form and register. Legal Disclaimer for Photo Contest

Parent or Legal Guardian must approve submission of the contestant’s photo(s). By submitting a photo, contestant and parent or legal guardian grants Parentricity Inc. the right to use such photo(s), child’s first name and city, on the Parentricity website and marketing materials. Slight photo alterations may be made by Parentricity in order to fit our site or email newsletter properly.

The Parentricity Contest is judged by employees of Parentricity Inc. and are solely within Parentricity discretion. All decisions of Parentricity are final and not applicable.

Distasteful photos, as determined solely by Parentricity, including photos with nudity or depicting children in a derogatory or dangerous poses will not be accepted. Parentricity reserves all rights to refuse any photo(s) that Parentricity determines to be unacceptable.

Prizes are based on availability and are subject to change. In the event of a change, a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

By submitting a photo(s), contestant and parent or legal guardian warrant and represent that such photo(s) does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other entity. Contestant and parent or legal guardian will hold Parentricity harmless from claims of intellectual property infringement and will indemnify Parentricity for any such claims. In the event a photo(s) taken by someone other than contestant or contestant’s parent or legal guardian is submitted, Parentricity recommends that the parent or guardian obtain written permission from such photographer to use the photo(s) prior to contest submission.
Winners will be announced 10-14 days after winning photo has been selected in each category.

Winners will be informed via email at the address provided by contestant and parent or legal guardian, and prizes will be released within 2 weeks of announcement. Parentricity shall not be liable for typographical or other errors made by contestant, parent or legal guardian.

The Parentricity Contest is void where prohibited by law. The contestants shall be responsible for knowing whether they reside in a state that prohibits photo contests and are subject to any local, state or national laws. Parentricity Inc. accepts no responsibility for making these individual legal determination
