Parentricity Product Rating & Review Program

Parentricity is free to parents, both moms and dads, and we rely on parents to generate the content and make it interesting and informative for parents. One of the new initiatives we're trying are in order to keep the content fresh and updated is our Product Rating & Review program. The way it works is pretty simple: To start we are asking parents to rate and review products that they currently have or used for their children. It can be toys, strollers, bottles, books, music, car seats, etc. We are asking parents to give their honest thoughts and opinions on the products. The next step in the program will be to have Parentricity advertisers send products to real parents to try their products and rate and review them. By doing this you will let other moms and dads know what you think of them. Here's some more information on how these programs work: What is a Rater & Reviewer? A rater & reviewer are moms or dads who have a wealth of knowledge and experience with various baby and toddler products. They should have a wide reaching network and be willing to share their opinions and thoughts with other parents. How is a Rater & Reviewer chosen? Parentricity chooses a Rater & Reviewer based on a number of things like the parents level of activity on Parentricity, how often you visit the site, number of people in network, quality of reviews and general knowledge in the parenting space. In addition, the advertiser may specify specific criteria such as a parent’s age, age of kids, or certain geographical regions depending on whom they are targeting with their particular campaign. Once a parent is chosen to participate, Parentricity will contact him / her directly via private message on Parentricity and explain the process. You don't have to participate if you are chosen, just let us know. Do they have to write good things about the product they are reviewing? No. If chosen to be a rater & reviewer has a bad experience with that product, they should certainly write about it. We want other parents to learn what real parents think about the product — and if it's not good, they want to know! Are Rater & Reviewers paid? No. While rater & reviewers do receive discounts, free products or gift cards (to buy products with), they are not compensated in any way. As much as possible, we don't want them to be biased.
