Description: Looking for family with four or more kids. I have four kids and one is a special needs child so I face alot of challenges with Logan. My life can be total chaos at time and its great to connect with others that have large families.
Hi I am Lorraine and I am mum to 5 children, oldest is 12 (going on 30 lol) youngest is 20 months. I have 3 under the age of 5. Having 3 young ones together has been very hard and very very tiring, especially at night. My 2 youngest Alisha who is 3 in dec and Lillie Mae who is 2 in Nove, have been very hard as they keep each other awake. Oh well I have to just get on with it. My husband Billy is the best in the world as I suffer from post natel depression he has been very supportive and even works round the kids clubs, schools, etc. Its nice to find other families with large families as all I hear is "havent you got yr hands full" and get so fed up ov it......
Just found out we are expecting another baby! YAY!!! That will make us a family of 7 (5 children and 2 parents)...unless it is twins, I would love twins! I am the oldest of 5 (the youngest 2 being twins) and I guess that is why I want a big family! They are such a blessing!
WE ARE SUPERMOMS FOR SURE. WE ARE SO BLESSED THAT WE CAN BARE KIDS. SOME PEOPLE TRY FOR YEARS AND CAN'T CONCIEVE. SO I AM OVER JOYED. YES, I WOULD LOVE A QUIET MOMENT , OTHER THAN BED TIME OR NAP TIME.LOL! BUT I WOULDN'T TRADE THEM FOR A MILLION DOLLARS.ENJOY THE MOMENTS WITH YOUR KIDS.

ALSO BUY TREATS AND THEN WHEN THE KIDS ARE GOOD THEY GET REWARDED. WE ALSO PLAY WORD GAMES OR GAMES LIKE IF YOU DO THIS THEN YOU CAN WATCH THIS MOVIE OR A TREAT. MAKES CHORES,LEARNING AND DISCIPLINE FUN. IT IS NOT TRICKING A CHILD. I THINK IT TEACHES THEM SELF CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE AND THE CONSIQUENCE IF THEY DON'T LISTEN. JUST LIKE THE REAL WORLD. IF THEN STEAL THEY WILL GO TO JAIL SAME THING. YOU WANT TO TEACH THEM FROM NOW OR LATER IT WILL BE HELL FOR ALL OF YOU. BESIDES IT KEPPS THEM OCCUPIED AND I GET TO HAVE A LITTLE PEACE AND QUIET. LOL!

Hi everyone, I am really getting the look now, as of 3 weeks ago my husband and I moved my 3 nieces in...(an 11 yr. old & twin 8 yr. olds)So boy do I get the LOOK now, but look on folks because we love'em regardless of what others say!
congrats on the new baby samantha. now about the rude comments i usually have people who as me in a rude was are those all your kids and i just smile and say yes aren't i blessed and then they usually turn their nose and walk away. i feel sorry for those people don't they know that since we have a huge family we have a lot more love
i have a large family-together we have 6 kids! i haave 2 from a pervious relationship and he has 3 from his first marriage and we just had our baby in April!
I can relate to you on that Tabatha, I get those same snide remarks or those looks, but I look at it this way... children are a blessing and for what ever reason I was blessed woth 4 wonderful boys and I am very thankful. And to those rude people tell'em like I do I LOUDLY say "see sons' someone left their manners at home" and that usually catches their attention!!
Snide remarks: Oh yeah! I get "the looks" alot when I go out. It's almost as if they are thinking I don't know what birth control is!
But the comments from others who say my children are cute or precious make up for it. And when they grow out of the "cute" stage, I'll still be grateful for the heritage God has given me - the "hands full!" that people so often remark about!
RE: Rudeness; Sometimes we do, especially when shopping because we do not always someone avaible to babysit so we have to all go. If they choose to be rude I figure they 1. don't have there own kids or neices/nephews 2. they were an only child or 3. they forgot what being part of a big family was like!!! We just deal with it and do the best we can do.
Does anybody else out there get snide comments because of your large family? I've noticed that the more kids I have the more rude people seem to become.

I also have a son named Billy from another marriage, He is 18. And willbe graduating the end of May.
I have a large family, we have 7 kids ages, 23, 22, 20, 17, 17, 15, 12 and have guardianship of our 14 month old grandaughter. We are awaiting the birth of our 11th grandbaby due in May. I thought that I was almost out of the woods when we decided to keep our granddaugter. We also have a cat that seemed to think we needed blessed with 5 kittens! Never boring but it is hard at times!
