My daughter is 18 mths old. She still doesn't sleep through the night. She's up at least 3 times, on a good night, most nights it's almost every hour, 8-9 times. I've had to put her bed in my room next to my bed just so I can get any sleep at all at night. I've tried just about everything I can think of. I feed her before bed so she's not hungry. Sometimes she still wants her bottle and won't stop crying till I give her one. I tried giving her a sippy cup but she throws it and cries for the bottle. I tried putting water in the bottle but she'll cry until she gets milk. Is there anything I can do to get her to sleep through the night short of giving her any kind of medicine? Does anyone else have this problem? how did you deal with it?
Oh have I been there...I tried everything (like it sounds you have done). I finally made the best purchase of my life: The SuperNanny Book. I tried her techniques and I'm not going to lie, the first night of sleeping in his own bed my son tried to get out 167 times. We kept track. The next night it was 7 times, the next...none. Her methods work like gold...if you stick to them no matter what. Good luck!
