When can a baby eat yogurt? I'm hearing conflicting information from 6-9 months.

Well, I'm from Canada, so it seems to be different. Here they say to not give any thing with a bacterial culture before the age of 1. So, we started our children on yogurt at 1 yr of age. They say the a baby's anti-bodies are not strong enough before they are 1 yr old.
